One of my favorite pop singles from the 60s. It evokes the "Summer of Love" and those endlessly long days. The band always denied any connection between this piece and the Bach "Air on the G String". Indeed I would agree. It's just the first few notes on the organ and that descending bass line which hint at the Bach. I would agree, though, that the whole piece - particularly the organ playing - pays homage to Bach.

Although I never believed that anyone could ever match the original version of this song, I must admit that Annie Lennox did a wonderful job on it with her version in 1995.
